AARMY FAQs

Ok so alot of people have questions about the AARMY and I've been trying to get answers for you guys for the past few days, so here's what I got so far. If you still have questions, please feel free to ask em =)

1. I signed up for the AARMY but now I can't log into my account?
First things first, Artist Arena is the company (booo) that was running the AARMY since 2006 and as of a few weeks ago are no longer running it.

So the reason you cant login, is because you signed up for a membership for THEIR aarmy. The AARMY up now is a totally new fan club run by different people. Which will be WAAAAAAAAAAY better then the headache Artist Arena created for us as fan club members for 3 years.

2. I signed up for the old AARMY, do I have to resign up for the new AARMY?
Yes. Sucks, but because its run by two totally groups of people, everyone is gonna have to resign up for the new AARMY.

There is a deal however for existing members though....if your AARMY membership expires starting AFTER July 1st, 2009, then you can sign up for the new AARMY for $25, which is a $10 discount for the full AARMY membership price.

3. I never got my package from being a member of the old AARMY, will I still be receiving my membership package?
No you wont, why you never gotten it, is still a mystery to me, but rest assured that you werent the only one that didnt receive their package. That was one of the biggest problems with the old AARMY, but that WILL NOT be an issue with the new AARMY, that's a promise.

We are asking people to contact Artist Arena for a refund, I dunno if a refund is an possibility at this point, but it's worth a shot.

To try and get a refund for your old AARMY membership use the below info:

4. If I do get a refund for my old AARMY membership, do I still get the discount?
No, if you do get lucky and are offered a refund, you will have to pay the full $35 for the new membership.

5. I dunno if I wanna sign up for this, i mean the street team gets meet & greet stuff and that's free. So what's the point in signing up for this?
Well to be honest, for a few years now we've been trying to get this AARMY laminate idea approved but Artist Arena didnt want to do it....but now with the new AARMY we have laminates and not gonna lie to you, it's gonna be used for some pretty awesome shit at shows.

That alone for me is worth $35, from the ideas i've heard being thrown around with what they might do to fans they see wearing it at shows ;)

In conclusion I dunno if it's the time i'm typing all this or what, but I cant remember anything else people had asked about the AARMY, so if I didnt answer any of your questions, please - PLEASE ask it, I'm here to help you guys understand what's going on, so no one is left in the dark =)

Permalink Reply by am13er on June 5, 2009 at 4:04pm: well u know the pass doesnt get you into the show free, it's just something u wear to the show to show people you're in the fan club and it may offer cool perks at the show.

Since your concert is in a few days, I say wear it to the show and go up to the merch stand and talk to Mike C about it (he's their merch guy). Ask him if it'll get you any perks for that show and i'm sure he'll be able to tell you better what they have in store for those passes =)
