on Tue, 07/05/2011 - 17:59

Tyson Ritter, lead singer of the multi-platinum band The All-American Rejects, continues raising money for “Don’t Hate on Haiti”.

Don’t Hate on Haiti (DHOH) is Ritter’s 100% non-profit charity organization supporting earthquake relief efforts in Haiti via Charity: Water. To date he has raised over $30,000 solely by fan participation.

Fresh out of the studio from completing recording on their 4th studio album, Ritter announced on his Twitter account @TysonRitterAAR that he is embarking on a 30 day vow of silence to raise awareness for those without a voice in Haiti. His silence started on June 16th and he has been updating fans daily with his progress via Twitter.

Fan’s, fellow artist’s, and friend’s have already begun pledging amounts for each day that he remains completely silent. If you would like to get involved in his silent trek and help raise awareness, we invite you to make a pledge as well! TWEET @DontHateOnHaiti your pledge amount to start and then send your final donation once Tyson breaks his silence.
