Having to cancel Birmingham and St. Louis

As people who have seen us play through multiple injuries know, we're a band who believes in "the show must go on" at any costs. Unfortunately we've hit a day where we have to bow to uncontrollable circumstances. We hate to have to do it, but we won't be making the Birmingham or St. Louis shows. It's nothing to worry about, and hopefully we back up and running again and rocking both cities in the near future, but for now we gotta extend our sincerest apologies to those who were coming out to see us. But next time, believe me, we'll be rocking the cocks extra deep into the dirt to make up for it! How's that for a promise?

While I completely understand that health comes before anything, the whole situation in Birmingham, St. Louis, and Cleveland should have been handled differently. Not by you guys, but by the venues themselves. It seems none of the venues made an effort to tell anyone that you guys had cancelled until we arrived. While that ISN'T under your control, here's what is:

A lot of people only bought tickets to this show to see you guys. I wasn't going to go until the show had been postponed and I found it you guys were opening. I am not a huge fan of Fallout Boy, and Blink 182 is good, but nothing I listen to on a regular basis. These cities that missed out on seeing you guys should be added to the tour. ESPECIALLY Cleveland. (a little bias, I know). The last time you guys came to Cleveland was when you opened for Fallout Boy. 3 years ago! While it was a great show, it was disappointing because it ended too soon since you weren't headlining. You came to Columbus in the spring, but that's about 2 1/2 hours from Cleveland. You have a huge fanbase here and I'm sure in Birmingham and St. Louis too, and I think it would be a shame if part of your "making up for it" wasn't adding those cities to your headlining tour. I can't think of a better way to do so.

The circumstances of the cancellation are unfortunate, but regardless of what happened, you can still control what happens. Think about it.

The show was so lame with out you, Blink182 rocked, but it was so disappointing to find out that you guys weren't gonna be there, because that was the only reason I wanted to go anyway. Get well Tyson, and please hurry back to St.Louis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
